Saying Yes! to Excitement and No! to Worry

Yes by Meghan Oona Clifford                                                                                                                    Prints available

Today I chose excitement over worry! I’m deciding to embrace the intense aliveness of things that usually could potentially stress me out. Things like:

Driving a stick shift

Doing taxes

Packing moving boxes

Not knowing where we’re moving to (yet)

I’m focusing on gratitude and trying to quell the overwhelm of my To Do list. It’s really not that much, and I’m seeing more and more how we’re propelling ourselves into the life we want with each decision. Not to ignore that I’m already living the life I want, which I am! But transitions are being made, and with good reason.

Things I want more of in my life:

Peace and Quiet

Nature

Time at the Easel

Vegan Cooking

Yoga and Working Out

Meditation Time

The Safety and Security of a Better Neighborhood

I believe taking care of yourself first is the key to helping others. Like putting the oxygen mask on yourself before helping your child, in the hypothetical airline safety demo. I’m antsy to get to my all my projects (art, Vegan cooking, and eco-fashion, ay ay ay!) but first… change is in the air!

Even change for the better demands a letting-go phase. Good-bye old life, good-bye SF, good-bye traffic and noise and chaos! Thank you to this city that’s held me in her crazy spell and made me fall in love.

Wish me luck!
