Remember my post about Amelie? This is my take on The Blind Man, touched by divine sight after Amelie helps him “See.” She takes his arm, and leads him through the streets, describing to him everything they pass. He looks up to the heavens, deeply moved and transformed by this stranger’s kindness.
I told Cynthia about this, and it turns out she’d only just recently seen Amelie, so it was perfect for her to pose for this piece. Even more perfect, she’s the moreTrees’ staff photographer, and we’ve gotten to collaborate on several photoshoots. As visual artists, we humbly aim to provide the same kind of “sight” that Amelie did — understanding and connections to uplift our viewers.
For the first time, I documented the process by video. Enjoy!
